The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna is a tertiary institution with a blend of military and civilian staff and students. AFIT is accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), National Universities Commission (NUC), Council for the Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN) and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). The Institute conducts undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Aerospace Engineering and allied disciplines.

ToggleUTME candidates are aspirants applying through JAMB/UTME. Highlighted below is the general AFIT 2024/2025 UTME admission requirements.
- You must have participated in this year JAMB/UTME exam and score the average/cut-off.
- You must have the correct JAMB/UTME combination.
- You must register AFIT as your first choice during your JAMB application.
- You must have at leasst Five O’level credit passes at not more than two sitting
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must apply, write and pass the AFIT post utme exam.
- Your cut-off mark is normally around 160 but will be better if you score 200 and above to be on a safer side.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates seeking admission into AFIT’s 100 level undergraduate degree and diploma programmes are required to write JAMB UTME examination and AFIT Post-UTME and obtain the minimum departmental cut off mark. All o’level requirements must be obtained in not more than two sittings. AFIT Pre-Higher National Diploma (HND) Admission Requirement
Pre-Higher National Diploma (Pre-HND) Programmes in Aircraft Engineering Technology and Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
(1) ND with a minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA of 2.50) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Material Science Engineering
(2) A minimum of one year post-ND cognate work experience.
Pre-Higher National Diploma (Pre-HND) Programme in Procurement and Sypply Chain Management
(1) ND with a minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA of 2.50) in any relevant field obtained from recognized polytechnics.
