TOP-UP Degree programme offers candidates the opportunity to improve upon their class of degree. The programme is geared towards providing a platform for university graduates with third class, pass and HND holders to acquire higher levels of skills and knowledge specific to their subject areas.
The programme is offered by various Universities all over the world including the University of Lincoln, Coventry University, University of Greenwich, London Metropolitan University, London South bank University and Kingdom University.

Top-up Degree Programme Duration
The Programme is for one (1) academic session (two semesters) for applicants with third class degree and HND.
For applicants with a pass degree, the programme will be for two (2) Academic sessions (four semesters).
Any extension will attract full payment of tuition fee.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR TOP-UP DEGREE PROGRAMME
Unical Top-up programme entry requirements.
- Candidate for top-up programme must apply for admission into the same programme they graduated from.
- University graduates with a minimum of third class and pass degree from all NUC approved Universities.
- HND graduates with at least lower credit from any approved Polytechnic
- NYSC discharge certificate, or exemption, or exclusion must be presented for admission
- Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ level credits in relevant subjects in not more than two (2) sitings, English Language and Mathematics at credit levels compulsory.
- Candidates must submit their application forms for admission into the proposed top-up degree and HND Converion, along with the transcripts from the last institution attended.
