So, to check UI admission status on the JAMB CAPS Portal, follow the steps below:
- Click HERE to visit the JAMB efacility portal.
- Log in to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down, then click the “Check Admission Status” tab.
- Then click on Admission Status.
- Select your examination year.
- Input your JAMB registration number.
- Then click “Check admission status” to see if you have been offered admission by ABU.
- You will either see admission in progress, check back later, or NOT ADMITTED or CONGRATULATIONS.
Three Outcomes to Expect When Checking the University of Ibadan Admission List
- Outcome 1: CONGRATULATIONS: If you see congratulations on checking UI admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal, then it means you have been offered admission. You can proceed to accept or reject the admission.
- Outcome 2: Admission in progress: If you see “admission in progress,” then there is not much you can do other than to wait and keep checking; the status could change in a few days/weeks.
