- Two of: Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
- An approved course or option
MTU Additional admission details
- Students are encouraged to take high school courses related to their intended major, some courses not required for admission may be prerequisites for first-year courses.
- General Mathematics from SSCE exams may be used to satisfy the “Mathematics” course requirement. Further Mathematics from SSCE exams may be used to satisfy the “Calculus” requirement.

How To Apply for MTU 2024/2025 Admission
- Visit the Mountain Top University Portal
- Click view Programmes Entry Requirements
- Click Start a Fresh Application button
- Select the Application Type
- Fill the page with your correct details
- Check the button “I agree to the Terms and Conditions.”
- Note the “Reference Number.”
- Click on “Pay Online.”
- Select your ATM card issuer (MasterCard, Verve, or Visa) and click on “Continue.”
- You will see the details of the fee with the charges, Click on “Use Interswitch” button OR Click on “Use Unified Payments” button
Then click “Pay with Debit or Credit Card.” - Click “Continue” to proceed to the payment page.
- Enter your ATM card issuer (MasterCard, Verve, or Visa) details (PAN, CVV2, Name on the card, Expiration date), and click “OK”
- Enter the OTP sent to your phone number by your bank to complete the transaction successfully.
- After successful payment, log in to the Application Portal with your Reference Number and Surname in lower case as a password.
- Click “Continue Application” to complete the application form
- Submit the application form.
- Generate the Payment Advice and Print the Application Form.
