Toggle4 Ways to Get Admitted If You Score Less 200 Than in JAMB
1. Get Admitted Through Pre-Degree
As the name signifies, a pre-degree is a pre undegraduate program completed prior to enrollment in university, however it isn’t necessary for everyone. Every student who enrolls in any university pre-degree program must pass the program’s exam, write the JAMB, and pass it as well. Sessions last nine to ten months, and the cost is between $250,000 and $300,000. This is comparable to the first year of university study since multiple classes must be completed before taking the exam.

Research over the years has demonstrated that students who go through this process have a better probability of being accepted into OAU as long as they meet the course’s cutoff score. Students who fail to reach the minimum grade requirements are frequently assigned to a course that is not their first choice, which they may subsequently elect to switch to.
2. Get Admitted Through IJMB (JUPEB)
You can enroll immediately in any university course in the second year (200 level) if you have IJMB A’levels. This program lasts for nine to ten months, which is equivalent to two semesters of higher education. Attending IJMB classes is a requirement for admission, as it allows you to obtain experience in the subjects you would otherwise only be taught during your first year (100 level).
Additionally, this can spare you the nervousness of the ASUU Strike during your first year. You are certain to beat your friend if you enroll in JUPEB now, provided that you are prepared to meet the various cutoff marks (which vary depending on the course you choose to study). The cost is between $230,000 and $260,000.
3. Distance Learning Centers
A distant learning centre is where you can learn (be lectured as a university student using the usual duration for the course) and have your desired result (B.Sc, Phd.) in the comfort of your home regardless of the distance. All you need to be accepted for this program is to a good phone or laptop, an internet connection, & the fee, of course, it is not free. You don’t have anything to miss out, as you can have a side job & run this program.
4. Re-write JAMB
Since JAMB is an exam written annually, you can rewrite the exam, but make sure you maximize your time, to either learn a skill or start a business if you have any, as this will help you prevent sapa once you get admitted. This time, you have to work harder than you have done so that you can reach the cut on your next trial.
You should be waiting for the forms of the programs mentioned above to be released instead of worrying about your JAMB score of less than 200 if you have the four items on this list.
